Job Description


Remote opportunity - seeking West Coast candidates at this time

This role is responsible for the sales and service relationship for strategic accounts and account/business acquisition with distributors. You will create and execute short and mid-term business strategy and performance according to the account plan (delivering the month, quarter, and year per plan).

Develop & maintain strong relationships with Distribution clients (existing and potential), with a strong focus on incremental and sustainable sales and the overall success of accounts. Responsible for strategic level work including creating and executing account plan and handles contract execution, as well as the day-to-day sales execution.

  • Create and execute account plan(s) and aligns this plan with the category sales directors. Leads the customer cross-functional team making sure all agreed actions are correctly executed.
  • Responsible for contract execution, owns and fully manages requests for pricing/contracts.
  • Define and negotiate prices to be practiced for each client / product
  • Create new business through our distribution partners and in coordination with our category groups.
  • Achieve sales volumes (EBIT, Revenue, Physical Volume) committed in the company budget.
  • Analyze and validate sales forecasts informed monthly by customers.
  • Identify opportunities to prospect commercial investments that generate business for the segment.
  • Identify projects to convert other packaging materials to glass.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum of 8 - 10+ years of sales/marketing experience
  • Ideally, experience managing Distributor relationships
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Deep knowledge of market, business, customers, and value chain
  • Strong financial acumen and mastery of financial data
  • Deep knowledge of innovative processes and internal capabilities
  • Understands value-based pricing
  • Strong negotiation and influential skills
  • Ambitiously chases new market opportunities
  • Demonstrates ownership of accounts

What we offer at O-I:

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $105,000 - $131,200 (mid-point) with a 20% STI. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
